(296 words) Sincere love is what is the key moment in the work of the great Russian poetess and translator of the Silver Age Anna Akhmatova.
Indeed, love literally permeates her lyrics. Whatever event, Anna Andreevna dedicated her poems to her face, they all glow with the most wonderful feeling on Earth.
Unfortunately, the flame of love does not always warm, sometimes it burns everything to the ground. It is enough to recall one of the most famous and "difficult" poems for Anna Akhmatova's "Requiem":
... like three hundredth, with the transmission,
Under the Cross you will stand
And with my tear hot
Burn New Year’s ice ...
How many bitter and hot tears shed the lyrical heroine A. Akhmatova, standing against the prison wall, waiting for the death of her own son. And no matter how strong her love for her own child is, inside from emotions and feelings there was only a void, a scorched field. But it is important to note the fact that she remains faithful to her homeland, despite numerous reproaches and persecutions. Anna Akhmatova herself did not understand emigrants, even condemned them. To the pathetic attempts to convince her to leave the Fatherland, she replied like: “But with indifferent and calm hands I closed my hearing.” Therefore, the poetic lines of this principled woman became real support for the country during the years of World War II. They contained enthusiasm, strength, and again endless love that knew no boundaries and barriers, love that could defeat any evil in the world: “The hour of courage has struck our watches, and courage will not leave us.”
It is safe to say that the work of Anna Akhmatova is inextricably linked with the concept of "love." The poetess painted her with the brightest and purest colors, she gave herself to this feeling with all her soul, with all her soul she loved ... It is a pity that they did not always love her. As you know, her lyrics were not printed in the USSR, insults and reproaches sounded from party stands in her address. The authorities took her first husband from her, broke the fate of her son, and healed her whole life with scars. But this heroic woman was devoted to her beloved country to the end.
