(266 words) Childhood is an amazing, magical world, completely incomprehensible to an adult. He does not remember that period of his life, he more accurately remembers events, names, faces, but forever forgets the feelings and feelings experienced at this time. Therefore, it is so difficult for an adult to understand a child.
Uncle quarreled with Zhenya over a trifle: a little boy asked his uncle to show him the numbers, but because of his laziness he declared the king's day. The nephew harbored a grudge against him, threatening: “Well, well, uncle! Remember this to yourself! ” Eugene began to indulge, for which he was severely punished by his beloved uncle. And here we see the deep emotions of an adult due to the fact that it was not from evil that he offended a defenseless little creature that sobbed in his room and hated the whole world. As a result, the grandmother and mother persuaded the nephew to ask for forgiveness. And so, Zhenya, finally, painstakingly printed the numbers on paper, and his uncle himself enjoyed his joy.
In this story, Bunin reveals to us the psychology of a child - he loves his uncle and doesn’t have a soul in him, but he hates him with all his heart and soul, because he inflicted a deep emotional wound on him. This fragile world of children, in which you wait for your treasured life as if all your time, and time is stretching so slowly, and when your dream is denied you, the world seems to collapse, and everything loses its meaning. An impatient adult, with his pride and irritability, offended a boy who quickly wanted to be on the path of knowledge. Unfortunately, many consider this a child’s whims and pampering.
The main idea, which, in my opinion, the author wanted to convey is that you need to be careful about the child, to educate him not with severity, but with kindness and affection, so as not to be ashamed as the hero of this story for his reckless act.
