: The young circus is seduced by the famous clown. Soon he is addicted to another, and the girl in despair rushes out of the window.
Allé! (fr. allez!) - a team in the speech of circus artists, meaning "forward!", "march!".
Allez! - This is the first word that Nora remembers from childhood. She grew up in a circus, practiced jigitovka, acrobatics on a trapeze, walked on a rope and all the time, overcoming the pain, she heard: “Allez!”.
At sixteen, Nora attracts the attention of the famous clown Menotti. He invites the girl to have dinner, and then to his room, whispering "Allez!" For almost a year, Nora has been traveling with cities to Menotti, helping him, believing in his greatness.
Soon, the girl annoys Menotti, and the clown draws attention to the aerial gymnast Wilson. Menotti often beats Nora and one day kicks her out, shouting "Allez!" Despite being mistreated, Nora is still drawn to him. Entering once in Menotti's room, the girl catches him with Wilson. Nora rushes at her, and Menotti hardly manages to push the women away. Humiliatingly kissing his boots, Nora begs Menotti not to leave her, but he kicks the girl out. Nora leaves the room and sees an open window. Her fingers are getting colder, her heart stops beating. Out of her last strength, she shouts out "Allez!" and jumps down.
